"I started my photography career as a freelance motorsports photographer in 1999, whilst studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Photography at the College of West Anglia, which I passed with a distinction.
During my time as a motorsport photographer I produced the official British Touring Car Championship calendar for 7 years. Each year varying the design to make it look as fresh as possible.
Some of my biggest influences have been John Hansell, whom I had the privilege of working with for two years and Jakob Ebrey, who is one of the leading motorsport photographers in the country.
I feel my style has also been influenced by Don McCullum with his editorial style black and white portraits and reportage photography, which I admire greatly.
Upon losing my regular (non photography) job, I decided to dedicate myself to photography full time, and now work freelance in a studio enviroment with my good friend Andrew Orr, we are the Digital Duo."
